After fevering PokeGo, basking on the Pokémon is Sony and its ‘Pikachu’

It’s been long since Sony has launched its smartphone. The year so far has witnessed many big launches including Moto M, Honor 6X, Redmi Note 4, Asus Zenfone and Vivo V5plus. While smartphone industry is caught up in catering its limited budget consumers, Sony missed the dancing flashlights of tech launch parties and nobody seemed to notice. The whispers are certainly widespread after the images of Sony’s latest smartphone has surfaced. The phone is labelled as ‘Pikachu’. After the smart game ‘PokeGo’ hazed the gaming minds, Sony seem to earn fullest from the ‘Pokemon fever’.

Apart from this, the company is also said to launch the new entrants of XA and XZ series.

Specifications –

However there is no official announcements for the phone, but the specs are out in the market.

The sony Pikachu has a dual core Graphical Processing Unit and is backed with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage capacity. It will have 720p and 5 inch display and Helio P20 chipset from the highest performing range of Taiwanese chipset maker MediaTek. There are two cameras – 21 MP at rear and 7 MP tagged as selfie shooter. The question is, could it give other selfie smartphones like oppo and vivo v5 a run for the money? (Clearly, we are not even mentioning iPhone 7).

The smartphone maker will soon launch a latest entrant to the Xperia series with a Snapdragon 835 processor. Soon after, L.G will launch its latest smartphone offering.
