The Smartphone Launch: Watch out for Lenovo’s Moto G5 and G5 Plus



In previous blog we talked about the soon to be launched smartphone by Sony called Pikachu and its other three entrants of Xperia X series. The global mobile event – Mobile World Congress, to be held in Barcelona, Spain at the end of this month will witness the launch of enigmatic new smartphones. The one we are here to discuss is Moto G5. Last year, Moto series became the highest grossing smartphone with sales solely existing online. After the successful G4 and G4 plus, Lenovo is ready to roll Moto G5 and G5 plus. We have spent quite a time sniffing updates from reliable sources and here is what we found out about Moto G5 –

Just like moto G dual series smartphone presented a challenge for other brands to come up with something outstanding which snugs the budget of middle class consumers. Redmi Note 4 was received well this year and now all the eyes are set on this mega mobile congress in Barcelona.

Compared to 5.50 inch display of Moto G4 and Redmi Note 4, the G5 adorns a 5.2 inch High Definition display. The G5 plus smartphone is packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor and is jacked with 4 GB RAM. The G5 plus will carry forward the turbo charging feature for its 3000 mAh battery. The android update will be latest i.e. –Nougat 7.0 accompanied with elemental features – Moto Assist and Moto Actions. The Moto G5 has Snapdragon 430 processor and 3 GB RAM packed with 32 GB of internal storage. The battery is relatively smaller than G5 plus – 2800 mAh.

Lenovo has decided to introduce a new look to G5 series. The 12 megapixel rapid focus technology, Sony sensor, and front 5 MP sensor camera is packed in a metal frame this time.

The budget battle between Lenovo’s moto G5/plus and other competitors including Vivo and Redmi is going to be a playful watch for market pundits.
